The Choir meets on Fridays from 7- 8.30pm in the choir stalls. There is a junior section aged 7 years and upwards. The juniors are given free singing tuition and also free entry in RSCM music examinations AND dependent on experience they get paid for attendance and weddings. We are lucky to have a thriving senior Choir and it is expected that the older members have at least basic sight reading.

Over the past 12 months the choir has sung at a number of churches either for a joint choral services with their choir (e.g. All Saints, West Dulwich) or providing a choir to a church which does not normally have one(e.g. Holy Trinity, Millbrook, Southampton). They have also been involved in concerts with other local choirs, carol singing around the area and singing in local care homes.

The choristers main responsibility is to lead the singing at the 9.15am service every Sunday (term time only for juniors) We also sing about 9 choral Evensongs a year in the Church.

We are a fun group who are very welcoming. If you are interested in joining us, why not come along and listen to one of our practices where you will have the opportunity to hear and meet the choir. You can also visit our facebook page at

choir party 2013

After another very hot day the lovely shelter and mild breeze of All Saints grounds started off another successful end of year party. Food as usual was amazing and company of choristers and their partners was even better - even though a number of choristers were away on holidays.

Of course the annual summer party cannot be had without the tradition of a football match. The team captains this year were Peter and Matthew. As usual there was much competition (some would say violence!!!) and even blood spilt - from collecting the ball out of the brambles. Martin was a very competent goalie for Peter's team but person of the match had to go to Daphne Johnston who tackled and tagged many an opponent - also on Peter's team. Although Peter had a strong team the final score was 7 - 6 to Matthew's side. Many thanks to Roger for his usual unbiased (!!!) refereeing.

As the people had departed Roger and Mo suddenly noticed a roe deer bound across the grass and into the thicket. A fitting ending to a perfect evening.

We are very blessed to have such a wonderful choir who sing throughout the year.

2013 Christmas party

Over 30 people descended on Ivor and Daphne's house last night for a very enjoyable Christmas party. Singing started the proceedings with an audience of husbands and wives. Then we were all spoilt by some amazing lasagnes created by Daphne to suit all tastes, salads and breads provided by other members of tbe choir. Talk was very relaxed with people table jumping between courses. Amazing desserts followed. Thanks to so many people - Ivor and Daphne for lending their house, John for serving, the choir for being amazing and most especially the partners wo so generously support us.
