The Band
Posted March 21st, 2006 by colin cousinsSt. Thomas' and All Saints now have a faith band. This started up nearly a year ago after a music workshop, but has gone from stength to strength after the locally well known gospel/folk team Barbara (vocals) and Andrew Clapper (plucks various things) started to play with us. We currently have 7 members so can function even if one or two are absent. With this sort of line up, naturally some of our output is more modern but we also play traditional hymns with the instrumentation we have (guitars, flutes and keyboards).
We are helping with worship for the "Christianity Explored" sessions, the combined Anglican and Methodist services and also the youth services.
